ZABLUDOWICZ COLLECTION INVITES: ANDREW MUNKS

"Zabludowicz Collection Invites" provides an opportunity for artists not yet represented by a UK commercial gallery to have a solo presentation in London, amongst many participated artists were as well Richard Sides and Rachel Maclean for example. The upcoming show will consist of a series of photographs made by RCA graduate Andrew Munks. He came to an original idea of catching fishes, dressing them in hats and wigs and making photos of them under the water for Plop Shop. The sound and information components will play through the three retro telephones.

The exhibition will be on show until 9 April at the Zabludowicz Collection, 176 Prince of Wales Road, NW5 3PT

Electricity: The spark of life

Electricity: The spark of life' at the Wellcome Collection promises to be fascinating and thought-provoking. Featuring more than 100 objects, exhibition is divided into three sections – Generation, Supply, and Consumption – each of which contains a new commission by a contemporary artist – John Gerrard, Camille Henrot(who received the Silver Lion Award at the Venice Biennale in 2013 for Grosse Fatigue) and Bill Morrison. Inspired by famous experiments into bioelectricity, they created artworks for the exhibition which emphasise the importance of electricity and analyse the relationship between technology, environment and humans. It is a touring exhibition organised together with the Museum of Science and industry (Manchester) and the Teylers Museum (Haarlem).

The exhibition will be shown until 25 June at Wellcome Collection, 183 Euston Road, London NW1 2BE

A CLOCKWORK ORANGE

This modern version of Anthony Burgess original masterpiece “A Clockwork Orange” is full of energy, sexuality and movement. The stylish horror show tells us about two young men fighting against the boredom of juvenility and its’ theme remains as important today as it was in 1962 when the book was first published.

Performances run from Tuesday to Saturday every evening at 7.30 pm from 14 February until 18 March. Show running time is 90 minutes, without an interval.

AGNES GRYCZKOWSKA ON SPEAK: TANIA BRUGUERA, DOUGLAS GORDON, LAURE PROUVOST AND CALLY SPOONER

This tour led by assistant curator Agnes Gryczkowska presents an opportunity to have a deeper look at the exhibition “Speak: Tania Bruguera, Douglas Gordon, Laure Prouvost and Cally Spooner”. Artworks of these contemporary artists broaden the ideas of John Latham who has seen the main role of the artist in changing the society. This exhibition contains video and sound installations, sculptures, drawings and even a single live body.

The talk is taking place on Saturday, March 11, at 3 pm at the Serpentine Sackler Gallery and is free of charge

RICHARD SERRA

Richard Serra has exhibited his sculptures and drawings at Gagosian (in the United States and Europe) more than thirty times. This spring, you can see three recent large-scale sculptures by this great artist at Gagosian, London. The artist created these sculptures for urban, landscape and architectural purposes and presented them at world famous museums such as Tate Modern, London; Guggenheim Museum Bilbao; Neue Nationalgalerie, Berlin and many others.

The exhibition will be shown until 13 April at Gagosian, 6-24 Britannia Street London WC1X 9JD.
