Source of Inspiration
For centuries the remote Ligurian coast has inspired artists and poets, and little has changed over that time.
This area was an inexhaustible source of inspiration for Mary Shelley, Lord Byron, D.H. Lawrence, George Sand, Henry Miller, Virginia Woolf, Charles Dickens and Henry James.
After the Second World War artists such as Tullio Mazzotti together with Asger Jorn, Lucio Fontana, Wifredo Lam were attracted to Albissola Marina and created great experimental art.
We would like to bring back the artistic spotlight to this place.
